I think this was brought up before but no one was quite sure.

I seem to have some stability problems when working with WiFi. The rom locks up and almost always requires a restart when I have WiFi on but is rock solid (as typical from root!) when WiFi is off. I note it is especially shakey when there are multiple networks detected but not connected to any of them.

Figured I'd give the master chef a heads up if he wasn't aware of this.

i use wifi multiple times a day at various locations & have not experienced any aspect of what you are referring to. what version of the rom are you using & did you flashdance?

I Have this problem too! when im at home on my wifi network (only one in range) it works perfectly! When i leave and go to work theres 3 in range there and the device freaks out and locks up when i hit dismiss after it asks which to connect to. Even when i turn WiFi off before hand, it still asks which to connect to also. (RootRom 0225)

Also i think ive solved my battery problem, i installed Lumos and a battery enhancement cab, even going thru the 90's it took a while so i think ill be good now :D Also on my last re-flash i refrained from installing the VZW carrier cab, radio, and stopped using changescreen. Even tho i dont think those had much to do with it, they couldve.

Anyone have an issue with the top bar icons acting weird? My battery icon is the classic WM icon, and whatever icon is supposed to be to the left of it is non-existent (there is a black square). the other two are as shown.

im running the new xxxslimroot 2.5 on a sprint tp.

i would hard reset/flash but i would prefer not to have to re-setup the device again.

I am sorry if this is a question that has been addressed in the 3945 pervious posts, butI am using XSlimRootLS_02152009_23518 and

1. on the START>SETTINGS>SYSTEM There is 2 Device Information and Power Icons.
2. I cant get my @msn.com mail account to properly install. The mail program wont download any of my personal folders.

Is there a email set up fix / .cab / reg hack?

Also with the weather settings...From the home screen if you enable Location only, the weather settings work from the weather page.

And THIS ROM IS LIGHTNING FAST ! ! !

Just not plugged my device in to charge.
Took it off charge yest morning and I am now at 16% but I do have an extended battery.
Close to 24 hours on XXXDarkRoot and still 16% juice. LOL

Did you install a new taskbar?
No issues here.

I think I understand why the taskbar drop down icons are off again and will try and fix them for the next update.
They were working on my test run and I changed a few things before release.
Should be an easy fix.

I am aware of the double icon issues and will be working on getting that fixed.
The new WM build has apps that I already had in my kitchen.
I will remove the doubles.

As far as MSN goes have you updated your Live software or anything?
I do not use live/hotmail on my device.

After Lumos and battery enhancement im a happy camper root :D been running for 2 1/2 hours and still at 91% :D :D lightning fast and actually the WiFi freak out issue seems to have temporarily fixed itself haha. :thumbright:
