Do you know if this ROM takes care of the 2016 SMS problem? Or do I need to apply Ziggy's cab after flash?

There is no 2016 problem on any of my roms my friend.

For some reason settings will not show up on programs.
I have it set to as I do on all roms.
It isn't working.
Trying to figure out if it needs a new mod.

Ok Root, got the slim up and running with all my massive goodness on it, and the memory is pretty much exactly where it was with the non slim, but that's expected with all I throw on there. Was digging through the settings and found something new (to me). What is/where can I get some info on Smart Lock and Sensor Lock? I hit Sensor Lock by accident and got the Windows working symbol, but then nothing. Hit Smart Lock and saw the huge array of settings. for once I'm not playing cause I don't know what they do!

Crashing for a few hours. Later!

Sharkie pointed me to this registry setting. I then created a regedit in kitchen and cooked it in. Work great.

To have the settings icon on your start menu:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo]
"HideSettings"=dword:0
