XXXDarkSlimShady

Hey Bro posting here so others can confirm or deny they see these issues.

Overall it looks really strong! Having a few freeze ups (which could just be me) and that taskbar/notfications menu issue we talked about.
The symbols show up on the Dusk Taskbar but I dont get the black HTC Notification Menu when I click on them, just the drop down menu which we all love to hate :)
That drop down menu is functional but some icons are missing so there is just blank, but clickable, space-like the pic I sent you.
Saw some slight graphical hiccups but a soft reset seems to have cleared most of them but the dialer is getting messed up when flipping back and forth during a call-seems more consistent than the last time we talked about it.
The default background seems chopped too-have seen it before XXXDarkSlim.
Will edit this post with some pics.

EDIT:
Dialer after flipping back from landscape

Not a new issue, just never saw anything about it-is it just me or is the HTC Flag chopped?
http://i799.photobucket.com/albums/y...eenShot1-2.jpg

Again, maybe it's just me old eyes-LOL-but is there a line above Calendar that isnt usually there? Obviously not a big issue but just thought I'd ask :)

Up on the computer it looks fine but on the phone it looks off a bit, too bright(?),probably just me :)

SIDE NOTE
On your Files page the links are one off, click a link and I get the file ABOVE it :) No biggie, just FYI.

its part of sashimi & lets you make/provision an xml file that can automatically restore things such as your email accounts/activesync/wifi profiles all as a part of sashimi. just needs to be configured once & then each new flash it can be automatically restored for you.

I will edit spacing on the dl page.
The whole site needs and overhaul.
Any web designers in here? lol
I could do it but it is time taken away from my cooking. :)

Makisu is part of Sashmi and automates things like Exchange, Active sync and email.

I threw some pics on my last post.
On Dialer flip-exiting the dialer then hitting the hard Send key fixes it .

darkSlim:

PPCgeeks was down for a bit last night so that was a clear sign to get some sleep...no clowns here. LOL

well, in addition to winmo's list of finds:

-twitter tab in landscape mode looks fine until you sign in and the screen either goes black or you get "zebra stripes" but goes back to normal in portrait mode.

-you have to again enable my location to get weather running

-IMO g-sensor setting for flip-it app sensitive but there may be something in the registry to tune it down.

Heading into Frisco for lunar new year and will test more as time permits but overall, this very fast as is, would be excellent for most users, and being slim it leaves plenty of room to for mods and apps. Nice job friend!!!

@ winmo
old eyes?! LOL. It is your attention to detail that causes imperfections to lose focus.
:salute:

edit: i changed the background on the home screen and you can see clearly that the calendar and clock background overlaps ~3mm. background in landscape mode is a little off

Not sure what is causing all the issues on the beta test 2012. The test run was nearly perfect before I broke it. lol
I will upload an update soon.
Till then I would just use the latest 2011 build on the dl page with landscape. :)
