PPCGeeks - [ROM] ROOTROM and Themed roms - Sense 2.5 - SMS/MMS - Sashimi Compliant

hey im lovin ur 2.5 roms they jsut keep gettin better and better but as ive said before i hate the sense messaging or whatever its called. the message interface that appears when you touch the message itself to respond. is there any way to get rid of it? i know i can just tap all messages then the message but i would just rather have it gone period

There is not a way that I know of without entirely disabling Sense, which would defeat the purpose of having a sense OR a tf3d ROM. Have you tried Root's Titanium only ROM? Pretty bad ass piece of work...

I just loaded up the newest 2.1 sence today (jan 21) and this is still not fixed. Phone comes default with no service checked (Home only, a, or b roam). As soon as you force roam you cannot get automatic back without a reflash. Sorry but this is a deal breaker for me because I sometimes have to force roam for weather locations and USCC has poor service inside my work. Nice looking ROM otherwise. If you look at how a current NRG rom is set up in the same location you will see what I mean.

PS: Plus I hate retractable sliders. Can this be disabled?

I never have to force roaming on Sprint.

hey dak408...ya the retractable slider is removable..start-settings-system-remove programs..there is a cab with retract in the name. uninstall that cab and soft reset and youll be good to go.

hey root, im on the new 2.1 and there is something not working with the my contact card..it wont open. i just noticed after i synced my facebook contacts, my icon didnt update and normally i could press it and itll ask if i wanna update mine..it gives me the yes or no options but then nothing happens. just lettin you know mate. this rom works very well overall

All MaxManila 2.82 installers:
2.81 and 2.82 are designed for Manila 1922. AFAIK 1922 is neither ported to VGA nor included in the latest NRG ROM so you have to stay with Maxycy's 2.7 version. Reading Maxycy's thread would have made this very clear.

ok very strange isssue today: when I get some texts (not all)it vibrates forever and doesnt stop unless i soft reset. Any ideas?

Have you installed anything that has vib feedback alerts?
I have never seen that happen on any rom.
