USB Tehtering (NOT WIFI)
 

So I'll be grabbing this phone tomorrow since the Best Buy near me just got them in........but I was just wondering........there doesn't seem to be any type of hack or program to enable USB tethering...........is there any way to do it?! One of my contacts at the Sprint store told me with phones that require the $10 fee you HAVE TO HAVE the $30 HotSpot add-on?

Is there a hack or program for rooted users to USB tether for free?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

pdanet or easytether or wired tether.
must be rooted for wired tether.
they all work without paying sprint for tethering or hotspot.

Thanks loves.........I don't mind paying for the program itself..........but I refuse to pay $30 a month to use my phone as a modem! ;-)

and if you root your device, you can do wifi tether for free too.

I don't really do the wifi tether............I use USB more on my desktop because I didn't even bother to put any type of wireless card on it.......plus I already have wifi........thanks again!

If you already have Wi-Fi, then I assume you already have internet service. I'm trying to figure out why you would need to tether your phone to your desktop. Do you take it with you when you leave your house? :-k
