i'm fairly new to the Hero but a i have tried this and other 2.1 roms and because of the small bugs here and there i always go back to the 1.5
it is well worth it though to try them out for yourself. just make sure to do a nandroid backup of your phone before flashing so if you feel its too buggy you can always restore your phone to exactly the way it was just before you flashed it. :)

Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with their signal after flashing. I get just as many bars as I did before but my internet doesn't work most of the time. The EV icon at the top is hardly on and when I try to connect to the net I get "Unable to connect . Please review your network settings" I am sure it started happening after flashing because I am constantly using my phone to surf the web and the difference is very noticeable. I tried flashing the new Radio and still no change.
I really love this ROM and am extremely happy with it but it is strange that I would be having this problem. I didn't think a ROM would affect signal or internet connection, only Radio. Then again, I am definitely no expert. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am going out of town this weekend and would love to get the wireless tether working.

I've had a problem of my contacts not syncing with facebook across several different roms after several wipes. Any suggestions of how to fix this? I really like getting the pics for my contacts and birthdays


BTW the rom is GREAT feels so good to be FRESHHH again!

Edit: I LOVE THIS ROM!!! Hands down the best 2.1 rom..... Now if I could just fix my FB sync :(
