Never fixed the problem but I was able to root it then install Fresh Rom. Phone works better then ever

Will this clear the SD card?
If it does not do you format the SD card before the Flash or After?

I go the same error, anybody know hot to fix it? I will be selling my hero and would like to return it to a complete stock state since it is rooted right now. Thanks in advance.

how come when i double click ARUwizard.exe nothing happens?

I still have not gotten this RRU to work. I fixed the usb connection error by installing different drivers, but then when it goes to boot into the bootloader it times out and then I have to pull my battery to get my phone back on.

I had this problem over and over. I had to uninstall htc sync, then reinstall it. Then, next time I connected the phone, the sync app connected, and the ruu connected and worked fine. Before that, it would connect, then time out on the bootloader, then fail to even connect on subsequent attempts. Good luck.

My hero has been rooted and I want to put the OEM sprint ROM back on without undoing the rooting. Is this possible? Does someone have the OEM sprint rom I can flash from the SD card?

hey yall just want to give you a heads up you need HTC SYNC installed to get this to work. just google "htc sync download" problem solved and i was able to go back to stock. ... time to go in stall TTG ;) gonna try that out with the gumbo kernel installed
