[ROM][STOCK][10/27/11] 4.54.651.1(w/ security ota)(rooted & non-rooted & update zip)
 

so i saw the new htc ota update tuesday, and updated successfully on my evo, so i was bored and decided to make a new stock rom with the ota included. this is pure stock, rooted, busybox, zip aligned, and deodex'ed & odexed. I added dsp manager and the amazon appstore. the release number is now up to 4.54.651.1. I tested flashing this in amon ra and the latest clockwork.

I also have just the update.zip pulled from the stock rom itself.

Also made a NON ROOTED VERSION of this, for anyone who needs one an arm's length away. Same as above, but again NON-ROOTED. flashes the same way through amon ra or clockwork. this does not touch your revolutionary S-off, but as with any non rooted rom always have a backup in place

Just to make sure, the update zip only is the update but I keep my root, right?

i have the same question. i have the last pre-rooted rom installed.. i'll keep root if i just run the update through rom manager or whatever right?

Brad's roms are rooted, so flash this. If you accept the update through your device, than you will probably lose root. good luck.

oh what i'm talking about is he posted the update as well as the rooted roms.. i just want to flash the update that he posted, i just don't know if that'll lose root.

I would say yes you would lose root. Brad is quite active on xda so he may respond more quickly there. good luck.
