You have to put in swype manually, unless it's cook into ROM. hint..hint..DECK :notworthy:
If you really want it, do this....

Open your Romzip on your PC.

Open up the blue_swype_HC.zip on your PC (attached).

put (lib file) in system/lib

put swype apk in system/app

close your ROMzip and put it back in your SDcard & flash your new updated rom with blue_swype_HC. Later :hello2:

If you don't like this swype to bad, find your own. ::evil4:

For what it's worth, I suggest the SwiftKey app for typing. It's better than the AOSP default and FAR better than Swype, IMO. Takes some getting used to, but after awhile it picks up on your syntax and starts finishing your sentences for you.

How would I theme this? I'm just beginning to dabble in non-Sense based Roms with CM7 over the last week. I love it but it is killing my battery. This sounds like a perfectly solution. Can I just theme it with the CM theme app I am using with CM7 now (MinimalBread - CM7 Theme)? That would be perfect!

Does this rom support Dark Tremors a2sd? When I enabled it my phone started doing hot restarts over & over on it's own. Just curious. Other than that like the ROM so far (just flashed). Thanks Deck!:wave:

Edit: Answered my own question, lol. But the weirdest thing happened, somehow half of my 100+ apps got reinstalled I'm assuming by Titanium Backup(?) I never opened TB, hadn't installed anything yet. :confused2:
I saw in Logcat when I finally got it to boot & be stable that it was installing apps, & saw that Titanium crashed, & started back up again. I've never had it do that before, weird. This was a "clean" install, wiped everything, including /system & the ext3 three times prior to flashing. Followed your instructions in the OP to the letter to install. So' I'm not sure what's going on, but it is up & running, & super fast! :grin:

i posted rc5 as a quick fix to the camcorder. if you can hold off, i am working on rc6 and will be released in the next day or 2. Major updates.

I noticed a couple questions reguarding swype being implemented and themes and whatnot, my goal is to bring vanilla gingerbread android to every1 (2.4 ice cream when source is released ;) )in the most stable state, and allow the user to theme and customize the rom as he/she wants. The only thing in the rom that isnt compiled from source is HTC's proprietary files that are needed for the device to operate. Hope this helps out.
