No, all you have to do is wipe cache and dalvik cache when flashing the kernel from recovery. As for your first your question, I don't really understand it. The Tiamat kernels with sbc should have it in the file name.

Edit: Sorry, when I first read your question, I thought you already knew what SBC was.

SBC is Superior Battery Chargin, pretty much it gives you a true 100% battery charge, here is a link that explains SBC and other stuff that helped me out:

Basically SBC kernel charges your battery to its full capacity using trickle charge. Non-SBC charges batteries to the threshold HTC has specified is best for optimal battery life.

PHONE: Evo4G / ROM: Deck's Gingerbread 2.3.4 v1.2s / KERNAL: Tiamat 3.3.7

i like this rom...

but... internet is dead slow... unless I turn 4G on
basically it says "1x" 100% of the time... while I was on CM7 the icon changed to 3g, 1x... etc..

Even with the newest radios, I'm having a lot of dropped calls, and direct to voice mail incoming calls as well. I lost connection to my BT ear piece five times today. I like the features, but it's getting rather tedious.

Also ... the battery lasted only 8 hours today before I had to charge. I normally get about 11 using the BT all day long. After it reached 35%, it dropped like a rock to 19%

Running version 's' for 24 hours.

Some people were reporting that the newest radio gave them poor download speeds and service issues. you might want to try an older one. i didnt upgrade to the newest because of what i read.

new drivers beyond s? The only feedback I can give you on s is it seems to be working pretty well, beyond the still ever-present screen wake up issue.

Boy there are a lot of changes for the cyanogen nightly in queue.

S did have a lot of straight-2-voicemails. those are the only two problems i noticed.
