technically you can use any of them, but i always recommend the latest. tho you will not have app restore, you will have working talk voice and video :)

The gapps "with voicemail" what voicemail is this, sprint VVM? Something else?
Do all of the newer gapps without talk specifically listed also have talk?

BTW, Sprint just partnered with Google Voice and you can have your sprint number become your google voice number. Google then takes over for all voicemail services as well as international calls automatically. And since its better integrated with sprint, there is no hugh # of rings needed for people to reach your google voicemail like you would get with forwarding.

Small warning, I did try it out and I was completely unable to receive calls. Coulda been a temporary bug, instead of calling spring / GV to try to fix I just switched it back for now (your google voice # will stay good for 90 days if you want to switch back) since I had some job interviews today and Monday.

I had the same issue at first. Just go to the "Phones" tab on your Google Voice Settings page and make sure that you are forwarding your calls to your Sprint mobile number. If not, your mobile phone will never receive the call. This is necessary due to the fact that you are technically porting your Sprint number to Google, but the porting is more seamless and reversible. I ported my Sprint number a couple of weeks ago, and everything has been working perfectly.

I did have that checked and tried every possible option. I had a friend try to call me over and over as I messed with it. No go. Like I said, I'll try again, just don't want to chance missing calls right now.

Anyone know what the "with voicemail" means on the new gapps? Is google talk in the newest one?

Latest gapps has Sprint Voicemail and the latest google talk with voice and video included.

Any feedback on 1.2b? MMS? 4g? I assume everything is working or else deck would have said something. I am using my cell to tether so I can't update yet.

Good job Deck I envy ya bud , wish I knew how to do this shit LOL . Loaded it up and everything is running good so far . Running Timat 3.7.7 at the moment . To early to tell as of yet but everything looking spot on . Good job bud awesome work . Also MMS is working great sent and recieved with no probs
