PPCGeeks - [10-11-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.3][2.3.7 Stable] #Stablistic

The biggest reason I didn't get the extended battery was the clunkiness of the phone. I wear skinny jeans and for some reason the makers of my jeans made the pockets really really small. Pretty much, my evo is so long that it sticks out of my pocket and I definitely don't want it to be thicker as well.

14 hours with stock battery and 96% left? Please tell me which person did this so I may use their methods :)

I can't remember who it was, some regular poster over on the Good and EVO site. Seemed like he was a respectable poster judging from people's reactions. Who knows.

no update on why wifi isnt working ?? im suing the newest godmode kernel as i did the last time.. except this time i dont have wifi hmmmm help

What is the proper way to install this ROM? The directions confused me...it says install the Gingerbread ROM ZIP. That statement is singular, but there are two Gingerbread ROMS.

The first time, I just install Gingerbread 1.1 ZIP and all the other stuff. I seemed to have a couple force close problems off the bat so I went back into recovery and installed the 1.0 ROM and then the 1.1 ROM and the other stuff. Things seem to work for me now. but I want to make sure I am doing things right.

Thanks for any clarifications. This is my first time putting a custom ROM on since I rooted the EVO.

I'm running 1.0 without any issues. 1.1 has an mms bug so thats why deck put that back up there for download. This ROM is amazing. I can't believe the battery life I'm getting. This rom in conjunction with Savaged-Zen 2.1.0, and I can go a full day with average to heavy use and still be at 35% to 60% after 18+ hours off the charger.
