I don't know who logs you been looking at cause I've never had a 90 degree phone overnight. Dont believe the hype... Also the kernel you linked is the actual kernel included in this rom.

I can show you my logs if you like... but at night, the only time it is even close to 90 during charging is when I'm heavily using it, meaning gaming. For me not using it and charging means temps around 78*f.

My phone also has 3 layers of protection on it (hard inner shell, soft rubber shell, and hard outer shell). It is also normally on the bed or desk next to my bed. Never any issues.

Max temp while charging while using the phone: 100.5F (was playing games)

Lowest temp while charging phone: 71.2F (not in use and fully charged trickling at 10mA per min)

Average temperature range fluctuate depending on the temperature of the surrounding environment hence hot days & warmer house will produce higher charging temps. Cold nights if you leave the window open like I do can produce lower temps but these fluctuations are minimal and at most several degrees.

Understandable as you are using it as you charge... hell I've had it at about 105 charging and using at the same time. This guy is saying idle charge 90 degree temps... lol I like how there is a little tab underneath the cursor when you want to make a change... much better then mistyping and trying to pinpoint it...

I figured out my prob with titanium backup after flashing pre 7, it was the app that was screwed up which is what i figured, updated the app last night and got all my apps back. Deck this is the BEST rom yet (pre7), everything is smooth as hell and very responsive, i ran cm7 stable for a week after rc10 and this is way better then that even. thanks for the work, i might not even flash the final build lol, everythings perfect so far

would like to see your charging logs if you don't mind posting them up.

Can anyone explain a proper procedure for replacing decks SBC kernel with one of the non SPC kernels here?

Hey deck, can you make sound damping work for Sprint Navigation, or even Google Nav? The sound only damps for 2 secs while the navigation lady speaks for about 10. EDIT: this is so my music wont get mumbled in with navigation instructions. thanks man

This is directly from the OP on Deck's Thread. Use this if you flashing fresh with a new ROM. step 6a is were your flash your kernel at.

*Install Instructions*
1. Reboot into recovery. I use Amon's recovery.
2. *optional* make a nandroid backup.
3. Wipe Everything.
4. Flash gingerbread rom zip.
5. DO NOT REBOOT YET.
6. Flash gapps zip.
6a. Flash Kernel *if you are using a custom kernel as Tiamat or Savaged-Zen*
7. Reboot.
8. Enjoy gingerbread!

Enjoy,
-deck

If you have already flashed a ROM then follow these steps.
1. download the kernel you want to flash.
2. place the kernel (zip file) on your sdcard
3. reboot in recovery mode
4. wipe cache and dalvic cache (just a recommendation)
5. flash the zip file with the kernel in it.
6. restart the phone.

Now your kernel has been updated.

I hope this helps...tannerj

Bult in wifi hotspot doesn't support 4g. This is the only way to get tethering on 4g to work as far as I know:
