EDIT: Ok dude, i'm into the build now. Very nice looking, i'd definately stick with the rip screen transitions, they're the best. I think they're actually from Azrael, but nice. Still some blue left to theme, but it definately looks great with the glass look! Thx again dude!

Root depends on hardware and bootloader version.The best way is to run OTA update and then proceed to rooting with Zikronix method (in my sig)

Yeah, Linux saved me when WindowsVista totally crashed on my laptop.
I was able to retrieve all just by running Linux on CD drive.

Tranfer rate of files and downloads were faster for some reason.
Sticked with Linux dual boot mode with Windows for a while.
Was great for browsing and downloading from dangerous sites.
But now I just stay with XP and sandboxed web browser.

Linux and Android is the future,
No more $Temp files,
bad registry,
bloating & growing OS every time you use it,
Stupid security updates
nonsense to deal with.
Too bad all my apps are Windows

Mayby future is running Windows in virtual machine on Linux..

If you use Ra_Amon recovery you can do a nandroid back up of your rsa 4g keys only and store it in safe locations.
But to answer your question ' you dont have to worry ' using this rom ...

@Vin I got one or two small suggestions regarding theming and system. The default contact avatar blue (man), i think it would look better if it was something like a blue(andriod).

Beside that rom is outstanding and battery life has never been an issue with anything rom you create. You gave me a reason to use sense again. Thanks bro..

Next rom cook in the tweak where you removed apps are pushed a folder on the sd.

Yessir, had it a few months now. I am still awaiting Windows Phone 7 to give it a run, but until then the Evo is a great phone and surely out weighs the Tp2 on performance. No worries about the spots man, you'll get em in time, it's been a great ROM thus far!

I'm gonna shoot you a pm regarding SBC kernals, just incase you havent seen it. It's pretty intresting.
