Edit 1- Are you having issues with 4G???

Edit 2- If you want to know that these updates (2 of them) wimax has updated properly, then go to market and download terminal emulator, run it and see if wimax updated properly.

Before you do any updating, you have to find out if wimax is updating as it should, download terminal emulator and then we can go from there on how to verify it. That is if you already dl new update and want to verify that your wimax is updated as it should be.

That is the latest kernel since it is going to be the same as for everyone. Now, after you download your update, go to settings, scroll down to update, open it and see what it shows in all four updates. Start updating PRI PRL, Device config and system software. My wimax was killed for the last month or so from bad flashing so yesterday I restored my EVO to the most recent factory rom. Unervoked3 and a flash of Evolution later and we were all good! 4G works perfect!

Running Jan.20 all day, the rom is quick and battery is awesome- Moderate use today and I think I might just make it until I go to sleep, we will see. Man, it is almost 4pm here, I might have to start working it harder to kill the battery.

Android noob question- does the kernel flash with the rom? My Kernel shows 2.6.32.17 root@paris-laptop #2.
