I get it too even with a fresh install of the (senseless) 2.5 rom

Hideous... I see it, I've installed several DeskClock.apk's and they are all doing the same thing... Perhaps it is because it was a 2.1 apk and this is 2.2. I will look into more a little later.

By the way, i thought from the original posting it was his lock screen...

Finally!!.. Guess the update is working better now. Tried the ##786# method today and worked first try.. Finally on 1.4 pri.

enter MSL
menu, reset
boots into recovery
wipe cache
wipe davlik-cache
factory reset
reboot , then run your Nand restore after verifying you have 1.4 PRI if updated
(many people have said it takes two times, mine updated first try this morning)
