You should be able to load either rom version without a problem.

Does this ROM get rid of the 30 fps lock?

No. I believe that the FPS cap fix is dependant on what screen type that you have. There are two different screens on the Evo and they vary by hardware build. The screen types are Epson and Novatec. You can find out which one that you have by going HERE

The thread for the FPS fix (for Epson) can be found HERE

Dacoz

Version 2 is not a radio update it is only a system update, therefore people may have different radio's with Version 2. Your 4G and 3G radio's are independent of the system files unless you are installing Version 1 which has the updates rolled in. I have not heard any people having 4G issues so check your radio versions and if all else fails I would recommend flashing back to stock and starting over (see post 2)

Chris,

I also took a look at my co-workers phone and his PRI and PRL are different. Should I try to update the phone using the system updates? I didn't know if that would cause a problem with my rom or radios.

Updating your PRL should not be a problem.

Going back to stock will roll back to the radios to stock and then you will just have to re-root. (See Post #2)

PRL update will not interfere with the phone radios.

You need to be careful with this one. First there is google talk (the app) which is designated by talk.apk in the system>app foler. Then there is gtalkservice (which runs continuous in the services). This is utilized by google talk when you are signed in. The gtalkservice also controls gmail's push mail feature and access to the android market (also the market's notifications for when there are updates). If this is deleted, you will lose all of those functions. There is also a talkprovider.apk, but I don't know that does.

I have disable google talk by unchecking auto sign in. The service features do not drain the battery (I too thought it did, only google talk, when signed in). I have opted to note delete any of them because my battery life is great, so I don't know what happens if you just delete talk.apk.

I would do a nandroid backup if you decide to do it, because a factory reset after deleting an app from the system will not bring the app back.

hahaha to late i reflashed again to get them back but thanks for the explanation,
