yea all 3 of them. I started over and this time i selected the install all missing apps. but i have to install them 1 by 1...

Well I wiped the data and factory reset...and Facebook worked.

But why have an "update" if you have to reset everything back to factory default? You might as well load the all in one version.

Now I have to tweek everything back to my liking and reinstall all of my other apps. Doesn't make sense and I didn't have to do this before.

If you pay for titanium backup than you won't have to do them 1 at a time. Also, with the paid version you can create an update.zip file and install them that way.

I have never wiped the data cache and have not had a problem before, but every phone is setup different and one of the programs on your phone may be misbehaving causing the problem. Why don't you uninstall facebook and install the newest version from the market. The one in the rom was version 1.41 and the one in the market was 1.5.

C'mon guys, give Chris a break....he has said many times that he recommends wiping EVERYTHING prior to flashing an update/all in one, to avoid potential issues. I have done this each time I've flashed, and had no issues, unless otherwise noted by Chris - in which case he has corrected those in no time.

The other thing is, don't flash unless you absolutely need to....as I haven't done so since 11/22....there hasn't been anything I can't do without yet, so I download each all-in-one but will only flash if I need to or wanna screw around.

If you flash a rom without regard to the developers recommendation, expect to run into issues. I've followed said instructions every time and have yet to have an issue.

I just reinstalled the app from the market and it works again. i didn't have to wipe my data.

i had that same issue too. all i did was reinstall the app and it works again. i didn't have to wipe my data.

it is recommended by Chris that you data/cache wipe your phone before you install any update to prevent future errors when the phone writes over existing data. he didn't say that you have to do it but expect to run into errors when running any apps or programs.
