I've never done anything with most of that stuff removed to SD and I don't think many ppl were running into space issues even before all the ringtones and wallpapers were moved. Anything each particular person doesn't want can simply use WinRar it 7-Zip to remove it pre-flash... just my 2 cents :)

Good to see ya here in the thread Bill !

Thanks ... that is a great upgrade. As for the new iteration ... I agree with Vancer ... stock is best, then I can add my own customs.

[QUOTE=OMJ;2061772]sooooo, using aamikam latest odexed base is like starting from scratch cuz it's all stock.....the last few of my releases kept his structure of moving alot of apps, wallpapers etc to sdcard.

I was thinking of doing the same just not sure what to keep & what to move.....personally I don't care, I could leave it all in the ROM and it wouldn't make a difference to me. If I didn't move apps to sd, I would still delete the sprint bloatware & other junk.....not sure about the wallpapers & ringtones/notifications......thoughts?

I'm happy with stock minus STD's

yep....I've tested one ROM already but I'm waiting for aamikam to make a few more mods before it will be ready.

-4n1 reboot menu
-flipclock
-transparent notification
-usb tether
-hacked sprint hotspot

Cool :) ... can u ask him if this has the re-structured rosie? It's about the only thing I like to tweak from stock ... I'm referring to what he posted in his thread about moving stuff out of com.htc.resources.apk and putting everything in rosie.apk so it's easier to edit/theme and doesn't mess with other stuff.

Thanks! Looking fwd to new release! Been kinda dead around here lol

Edit: ... it will have power widgets too with the transparent notif/curtain right?

Hey OMJ or anyone, have you tried the HDMI out mirroring app that was released. Not sure if it is official or just beta, but I was wondering what you thought if you tried it.

not yet, but the comments in the thread state that it's beta & doesn't work very well......I wont be using or including in a ROM until the bugs are worked out & working perfect.

Thanks OMJ. I was just curious. It seems promising, but was wondering if you thought it was worth it to DL outside of your ROM

My two cents . . .

I REALLY like having the walpapers and tones on the SD card. Maybe I'm just super utilitarian, but if I don't use them I want them off my phone, and having them on the SD makes that so much easier.

It is my impression that the free space on the internal memory serves as the cache, so more free space on the internal means more cache means things run a bit zippier, no?

Any reason when I power on my device or come out of airplane mode my 4G automatically comes on?
