I've been running your rom for about a month now and love most of it. The major drawback I seem to have, which could be my own fumbling of settings, is power consumption. It constantly draws between 250 and 300 mA and the battery life is about 8 hours even when idle (makes no difference if I am using it actively or just sitting with display dark.)

Any hints on what to check?

Can you post like a list of all your running processes because it is not anything I did. Make sure that your automatic backlight is off too and also that you don't have any other background processes running that would cause the CPU to be used up.

Everytime I check, it shows nothing in the list from the task manager.
I guess it could be other apps I installed since, maybe I'll uninstall everything else and see what it does.

If all else fails, I can try to re-load the ROM.

Thanks for the help.

Yuck. Yeah I don't know. I was hoping you would post from DotFred's Task Manager because that tells me all the processes that are running.

Thought I'd point out the below, for those of us not using Manila, including the Manila Message Client. It really is a very nice SMS enhancement that is working well on my custom rom that is similar to Shadow's, with one exception being that I am using Sprint PicMail for MMS.

Hey. Im enjoy this rom, but I have one question. I prefer the new opera 10 bata. I can install that would require me to delete some other programs to make space. When I try deleting the existing opera, I get a message that I am unable to delete it because it is part of the ROM. Is there any way I can delete it?
Thanks

Thanks for sharing Oat. And Opera ten should install right over it from a cab. The only way to install it over would be to recook. Sorry. I could recook a version without hardly anything and just put cabs on the front page and make this ROM final. I have since moved on to my Tour and it has been a very sweet phone really.

Lemme know.

Thanks for the reply. When I install the opera 10 cab, it installs in the Program Files folder and the older version is in the Windows folder... so it didn't get overwritten.

I have spent quite lot of time setting everything right on the phone so I don't really want to bother reflashing... But thanks for offering.
