incall recorder
 

The incall recorder in this ROM is working, BUT the caller's voice is faint.
I just came from EnergyROM 23081-oct 25 (6.5.1 / 2.5 manilla), that is the first ROM i have ever used that actually records the caller's voice as loud as my voice (without speakerphone).


This has been an issue for awhile with many chefs.
Do you know what the problem is?

THANK YOU for eliminating that damn screen lock after answering a call.
90% of the time I use the speakerphone, and I hate sliding that thing outta my way!!

hm oddly enuf the phone froze twice after ending calls today. oh well, didnt happen earlier. ill chalk it up to random freak occurences lol

Is there anywhere I can get a cab to change the full keyboard to compact qwerty one? I have fat fingers lol

no but if you're using phm registry editor just look this up:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>HTC>ezinput
set BioToShowMenu to 1 and press okay. the keyboard menu should pop up. select compact qwerty.
WARNING: i don't know how to change it back to full qwerty so yeah...

this is a really nice rom by the way. i'm still getting a feel for the 6.5.x builds. only problem i can really think of is i ran into the corrupted ringtone error...not sure if it's just me but i followed the usual flashing protocol so it can't be that. also as stated above i can't get my phone back to full qwerty...

I have been facing ringtone problem. phone does not ring for incoming call. when i reselect the ringtone it works again. it happened twice in a day. is there any fix. thanks for the great ROM.

there is ringtone problem. only a couple of the available sound files work.

Oh ok fine. Thanks a lot for you time Mystery. You cooked a great rom!

But if I can suggest you something, will be great to choose which programs we want to install before flashing to your rom. I think they call this a "virtual kitchen" or something like this... It's just because there's some apps I won't use that are already installed in your rom and that I cannot uninstall unfortunately.

Overall it's magic. I think I'll stay with this rom. I had like 40 mg left in my storage after the installation... :D

xda isnt working for me now. but it was posted recently here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=1341

I installed it but it looks like a few regedits needs completed to get the final 3 shortcuts to work. but everything is working on your rom :) it looks like 28004 is in the wild! never ending.

Yeah xda is down, has the 502 Bad Gateway error again.

Will take a look at those things when its back up. I'm looking at organizing the start menu with some nice folders I found, but can't get them right. Anybody wants to do it for me? lol

can you include e-natives showcase 1.1 in your next rom. if i install it after ROM, sense is not loading. if you can do this, you can ignore the below.

can you provide your kitchen files 28002. i am not able to get the full black theme. i tried the MysteryROM.tsk file. but it needs more than that.

Run this all day and must say this ROM kicks ass, just make sure to run the battery saving function because it was eating my battery, all the flaws are so minor (landscape in photos and music, and the link for text messages) that it doesn't bother me.

O and the apps you have on it are just fine, tell the baby sorry

The best part about your rom is same as the HD rom, not moded to say your name or photos, just plain HTC, how it should have been shipped.

I noticed there is no ram cleaner here That would be kind of nice... although it dosen't seem to get terribly bogged down any way...

No, the fix from xda won't work because I have another position fix included in the ROM. IF you add that fix as a cab, it will not start Sense.
I already have that added in the kitchen. I also fixed most of the bugs reported like, youtube, landscape, and I also added in FM Radio. I will not add any unnecessary programs that can be install as a cab. I want to keep this ROM nice, simple, and FAST! :mrgreen:

sorry to bother you. if i install showcase program through cab, touchflo will not work and sense will not load. i have tried cooking a rom with 28002, manila 2.5 with showcase and did not have the problem. my rom is not perfect as yours.

I don't think I will include showcase because I don't use it/don't like it. I will see what I can do so it can work in the ROM by installing as a cab.

FYI: I changed the hosting site to Hotfile. I haven't talk to Cbutters, guy hosting my ROMs, for a while and I don't know if he needs the space for his site.

I have had two minor problems with the ROM, first the weather has sydney, austrailia on the home tab and on the weather tab but when i go to remove location it isnt there, also the people tab r just plain white after i added a few. Just lettin you know, other than that its great :D. And can I install a theme on top of the ROM lik a christmas theme?

Is "Sydney, Australia" what comes up as your location?
The people tab problem has to do with manila 2.5 port, there is nothing I can do about it. I doubt you will find a Manila 2.5 theme for VGA.

Also i was curious if there was some sort of checklist of programs running lik on the stock diamond TF3D where u can cancel programs that are currently running such as Opera or Camera. Cause every time i exit one in the task manager it asks me to kill it

I think it was one of the originals in the weather tab and i might have removed it allready but it doesnt show up at all, only when i scroll on the locations and on the home screen

have you tried manually setting up your city on the tflo weather tab. Then go to the homescreen tap the clock and pick your city. it will show up then on the screen. also to Mystery's point, when you go to the tflo weather tab are you selecting set up my location on the left hand side? if you have it may just be in there and you can swipe to find it.

also regarding closing apps, Mystery has the task manager active under the small clock on the top right. with the tip of you finger, Just tap the clock once which brings up the native 6.5 tbar, then tap and hold the clock again for another 2 1/2 seconds and release, the htc task manager will appear. It takes a little effort but once you get the hang of it, it works fairly well. the animated weather sometimes slows this down though. Hope this helps.

Yeah but with this SYS is kind of hard to find it. This is what I do, Click on the clock on the taskbar, top right, a little drop down list will come up, press the screen where the clock is for 4 seconds then let go. The task manager will show up now. Sometimes it takes more that one try.

LOL got it, it was kind of confusing with the clock cause u have to tap it again when it lik flashes, but im still, workin on the weather.
