Can you see where the internal GPS settings prog went or is there a cab I can run to restore it?

Are you referring to the Quick GPS? I just downloaded the Quick GPS cab and installed it as I couldn't find it in the phone. Doing that also helped to fix the issue I was having with the weather tab not updating-I enabled the my location but after I installed that it has been running real smooth. I am including the cab file I used along with some of the other stuff I installed if anyone is interested.Attachment 48263

Here are the cab files that go with the manila customizer-just put cab files on the phone and extract to the corresponding manila customizer folder under programs and you will have a ton of choices. So far the phone is running great one little hiccup this morning but soft reset the phone and it was fine.

Cause I like hard resetting my phone apparently..lol no just kidding. It was the cab file I came across-I am still a little new to the difference between QVGA and VGA..still learning, experimenting--seeing what works and what doesn't. Haven't really had any problems with it-set up the settings and it doesn't appear to have any bugs, doesn't slow the phone down or anything..the picture and words are a bit on the scrunched up side but not too bad....I'm assuming since ur curious it is suppose to be a VGA cab I installed? :)

Yes you need the VGA. Thats why it is scrunched up.

Yeppers, I just downloaded the VGA cab..installing it now. Got it from a_c's website..downloaded the clock pack and battery pack they had with the vga cab so I'm interested to see what that's about..

Could someone please tell me how to fix the Windows live--it's driving me bonkers..I keep getting a sign in failure screen and have to click retry to re-sign in to windows live..and yes the save password box is checked..it just keeps popping up constantly.

As soon as I read ur post asking me why I had the QVGA in there I started searching for the VGA cab lol ;-)

This rom just completely rocks--ran a repair on my outlook on my computer and resynced the phone so I'm hoping this will fix the sign in failure error that pops up every so often. It's the only thing I can really think of...

I love the ROM but couldn't get TomTom to work with it. TomTom would not recognize the internal GPS. It was working with most of the other ROM's though. Other than that, nice job.

Have been using WM6.1 since it was always faster than all the 6.5 roms I tried. Got tired of dealing with the bugs and general sluggishness of another rom and loaded yours...holy crap. Everything is just silky smooth now. It feels like my phone just lost 50 lbs of dead weight. Haven't had many issues at all and I've been running it for a week now. Great job.

Hey 151jcolon, some questions for you. I noticed a couple of things.

1. when i switch the clock to white flip using manilla customizer, touch flo no longer functions. Did you experience this too? Anyway we can get a flip clock on the main touch flo page?

2. Is there a way to use my own picture as a background on the main TouchFlo page?

3. The start menu icons are huge. I tried to figure out how to make the icons smaller but I could not find it. Any ideas on how to make the icons smaller?

4. When I start titanium all looks great but the weather tab is not there. Do you know how to add that weather tab?

I've been trying out different Roms in the past few days and yours and mr obvious as well as OMJ's rom are very nice and stable. Thanks and let me know if you have any ideas on how to change any of these.

Hey Thanks for all your help. I ran into a couple more problems if you are willing to help. First off, the smaller icon cab worked fabulously!

as far as the wallpaper goes, when I set it, it still shows the black background (when I am in Manilla) and not my picture. Maybe that's just the way it is

When I set the clock from the link that you provided me, it leaves a huge white block at the upper left corner where the "sprint" word usually sits.. When I try to revert back to the old clock, TouchFlo never recovers and it wont run. Not a huge deal because I just hard reset but did you have any problems like this?

Lastly, Is it possible to "clean up" and reorganize the start menu icons? There are a bunch of stuff that I dont use at all and in Windows 6.1 I was able to just get rid of them. Is there a way to do it on your 6.5 Rom?

Yeah, I have built a few 2.5 roms but i just dont think everyday functionality is there yet.

Hi !

This ROM is VERY good, the only problem i have is that i am with Telus and when i reboot my phone i have the "hands free activation" wich is not working with Telus, is there a way to remove that ?

I wanted to say thanks... Someone finally made a rom with what I was looking for, clean interface with the basics.

My only concern is the bluetooth icon. The others are the clean white shapes, but the bluetooth icon kind of sticks out. Do you know a fix for it? See the attachment.

I don't mean to take away from what you've done though, this seems very nice. I've only been using it a couple of days, but I like it so far, I haven't seen any major issues.

wow when i first tried this rom i had mixed feelings because stuff was laggy...i tried alot of other roms since and always run into problems, but then i noticed this rom was getting good reviews. so i decided to try again and then i checked the page pool and found out it was initially set for 6! so i took the liberty of changing it to 24 and wow i must say this rom was everything i was looking for! fast, smooth and best of all tons of room! thanks for such a great rom!

You know I started to noticed the lagginess the last couple days too. Is there a way to adjust the pagepool without doing a new flash? I'm getting tired of reflashing. :(

erm... even if I reflash, what's the best way to change the pagepool setting on the CDMA diamond? I found one other thread in this area, but I'm still unsure since it's not regarding 6.5

hi buddy,before flash ,go to release diamond folder, double click on the page pool changer ... that will open a box where you can select the proper nbh. You will need to browse to the release diamond file and click through until you find it. Once it's highlighted, you can change the page pool to whatever you want.
