I think it might be that you're hitting "OK" in the bottom right rather across from the Start button, instead of the send icon in the bottom right of the text message itself. I could be wrong, but try it?

I used your sharedresources, but still get the blurred numbers on the wheel.

also, verified SMS send/rec via htc msg, sent mms via poutlook

I have no idea why the SMS is still not working. I have tried everything I can think and flashed over and over making sure I get a good flash. I am going to try and flash one more time before bed and try again. I have Verizon used to be Alltel, I don't know what MrObvious has but his was messed up too. I can't figure out why it works flawlessly on v1.2 on the first time I reflashed it. I'll update when I flash 1.4 again in a minute.

I just went to a custom 6.5 w\ Titanium for the time being. I'll wait for a few bugs to be pounded out.

I have no idea what caused it..I did the flash dance before flashing 1.4. I did a hard restart and now everything is working fine.

First off i just want to say Bad-a$$ Rom WM 6.5.1 23504 v1.4 Sense, loaded a couple of hours ago and so far the only real thing i saw as an issue is, under people/groups when you go to select recipients it does not open your address book therefore you cannot select people for that group... The Facebook interface and updating is great. Anyway to get a facebook tab on the slider instead of Twitter? Oh yeah and SMS works fine even sent a pic via MMS, calendar working so far everything including IGO8.
Flashed to stock first.

I'm curious as to whether most ppl with SMS issues are using the prebuilt roms or building their own rom with the kitchen. also Rileyd5 I thought you had gotten SMS to work. when I flashed 23504 everything that I use worked as it should. When I built a custom rom using 23088 I ran into the SMS issue using HTC Messaging. However I had Sprint selected as my carrier. I mentioned in a previous post I was able to get SMS working by selecting Generic as my carrier. Also I never ran into any build issues no matter what carrier I had. I have been sending and receiving texts all throughout the day on my latest rom with no issues.

I have been using the kitchen. sms did not work for me from a build this afternoon. last night it did work but for some reason the one from today did not work. I did take OMJ direction and removed htc messaging client and message enhancements, rebuilt and texting is working fine.

Just thought I'd add 2 cents. I'm not sure if anyone put this up but I will anyway. If you're having an sms threading issue because of the timestamp. I noticed this, and it bothered me. Here's your remedy:

Add this in your registry.

HKLM\Software\OEM\SMS

Add the following DWORD value (or change it but on my phone, I had to create it) :

Name: RecvTimeStamp
DWORD Data: 1
Base: Dec

Little bit of testing with netframework it works in 6.5.1 v4 but not in 6.5 V4 dont know if it was not checked when ya cooked it up or something else..
