Been playing around with 28014. Definitely do not like it's data performance. Opera's soooooooo slow it takes near to 5 minutes to load ppcgeeks, facebook contact linking won't connect or work, myphone won't connect, email refuses to connect and gives a no modem error or something. Tried a hard reset and a new flash and different sprint radio, same thing. Going back to 28002 for now :-/

ok, here is 28014 v1.3....seems to be working well....

-contact pix on incoming calls working
-reverted back to previous notification enhancement
-re-added PIMbackup
-added the landscape camera fix
-no # wheel smearing
-add/editing of contacts working

Thanks OMJ, I'm glad you picked 28014, seems to be fast and stable along with 28002. At work now, but will update tonight and report back.

is something wrong with the link? found me a wifi spot and was gonna download the upgrade but it just keeps spinning and not downloading, unless the server is bogged down with everyone trying to get it? I checked a different download and got it fine from somewhere else


hour later

strange, firefox nor my phone using explorer would download but google chrome (which I don't use) would download it... strange... now can install and test

I am running 28014 also. How are you folks getting your weather radar just visiting accuweather via opera or is there a weather radar app or other alternative? It would be awesome to somehow have an audible notification for weather warnings etc.

if you use sense/manila there are many programs you can use that have an inbuilt radar, just do a search.


if you use titanium, showaco titanium weather panel has a radar and there is another even better radar program that can be build into showaco titanium weather if you want it.
