I don't have any scientific data, but it's pretty much instantenous when you switch any tabs. Seems amazingly smooth.

I really like this rom, just one thing bothers me a lot - weather. It is way off somehow, it recognized my city correctly, however it shows +24 not -15 ((( Is there a way to turn automatic location off and just add a city from the list so it would show correct weather on the home screen?

Sure, no need to turn off location either. Just go to the weather tab in Sense, pick your city, save, then go to the homescreen, tap the clock and select the city you just created on the weather tab. Should work fine then. Hope this helps.

Problem solved. Downloaded new kitchen. Set e-Natives Showcase to True and swapped Album 3.2 for 3.0 1914 to create new ROM.

You will have to flash a different rom. That is how the 6.5.3 roms are, try flashing a 6.5 rom

Do you have the icon files for the start menu folders (multimedia, applications, etc.)? The new icons in the 28014 rom just seem really flat. I feel like it kills the look of the whole screen. I use JWMDIconChanger to change the icons so if you can attach or point me to the right place, I can do the rest. I have my own for the rest of the other apps. But so far, the roms been working great.. I'm gonna give Sense 2.1 a try after a few days.

Hey OMJ,
Except for the programs being in a different spot.
I can't see to many differences between the two.
I kind of prefer the old favorites tab to the new one just because you have the shortcuts underneath the person's picture.

I think a poll or something would be fun to do.

I have been using the 6.5 ROMs, just because the battery seems to last longer than on 6.5.3.

yeah, in 2.5, the people tab is far better, the mail tab is faster w/ amarullz optimization, Internet tab much better and customized, photo & music tab much better and customized, texting much better w/ amarullz mod....to me, there's no comparison, 2.5 is just far better....the only thing I like about 2.1 is the call history, and it's a bit quicker.

so we cant change the background on all tabs with the new 2.1 manila port?
