I'm starting to have a lot of freezing with messaging, mail, and random places. Didn't have issues in other 6.5.1/3 builds on other roms. Anyone else seeing the same?

did you flash to shipped and then clear storage after you flashed OMJ's rom? if so, do you clear out your text messages every so often? on the "all messages" screen go to menu/tools/clear text messages. i'm using 21882 that i cooked with OMJ's sense kitchen and it runs smooth as butter

Having great success with 28011 v1.1, but the following are some of the bugs i've noticed. I flashed to shipped before flashing OMJ, but did not hard reset after flashing.

1. After using them for a bit, Opera and Youtube forget that I have an active internet connection sometimes.
3. The Drop-down task manager only opens from today screen, and only with other progs running (I think this has already been observed by others).
2. "Phone" options not working (already observed by others).
3. Sense froze hard on bootup twice after working for a couple days, and hasn't frozen again since. No software/settings were changed immediately before or after this happened.
4. Once selected, the HTC Messaging text entry field covers all previously received SMS text. This may have started shortly after I installed Swype VGA keyboard.
5. HTC Messaging bottom tabs graphics become garbled sometimes (someone posted a screenshot of this somewhere)

I think I'd rather just use windows default messaging, but otherwise this rom is working extremely well for daily use (stability, performance, battery).

yeah, u can always just use text messaging in Poutlook

I just flashed to the new rom and have some issues with it...

1) My opera will not open, it says, "Could not initialize Opera"
2) When i activate the wifi and connect to my wireless internet, the internet on my phone will not work.. I've even tried a friends wireless network, still no luck...

Any ideas?

maybe a bad flash

it is a very solid 6.5 build because it does have bigger, finger friendly menus, its very fast and responsive, not buggy, and good battery life.

also just to clarify, the 28xxx aren't "newer" than the 21xxx builds, just different, as both are releasing new builds weekly

I'd have to agree, 21882 is probably the most stable & fastest.....but I really prefer the 6.5.3 buttons :D

OMJ,

Remember a while back I asked you a question about the alarm having a sliders for snooze/dismiss when it went off (when the phone was locked)? Well, I had been trying to figure out what it was and I finally got it.

Currently, I'm using your 6.5.1 Titanium only rom with SPB mobile shell 3.5 and its there. Its a feature of spb so I doubt it can be ported to the sense rom but I gotta tell you, I'm starting to like it more and more. The screenshot is attached.

using 20082 1.3 and when using the SIP and changing to number keypad it causes sense to restart and then the sip doesn't work at all. I seem to remember a similar problem with the earlier builds but thought it was fixed. Has it come back or?

Quick question here.

The calendar link under the date, how do you make that into something else, I dont have a use for a calendar that often and would like to make that another hotkey.

Other than that, this rom is AMAZING!

Thanks!

Using 28011 v1.1 and all is great except when downloading an email phone freezes.

OMJ Thanks for all your hard work I have been a fan of your Roms going back to your Vogue days.

I'm using a very similar setup to you, including OMJ's Titanium and SPB. Where exactly do you set/get the sliders for SPB snooze/dismiss? Thx. in advance.
