Yeah, I'm guessing you are running a 6.5.x rather than 6.5... like my post said I could only verify it works with 6.5. Did you try the reg edits from that other post? You could try that if you wanted.

Vancer, did what you said; put the .dll in the /Windows dir>>soft reset and both compact querty and phone pad typing normally. Thanks for the tip.

OMJ,

i have ran all your rom for days, my conclusion is that the 28002 is the most fast, stable and smooth out of all of them. thanks for the hard work.

Right now, I'm just waiting to see what comes, I would have picked up the Whitestone/Diamond 2 if Sprint got it, but it sounds like they are not. Hoping for HD2, but I have my doubts. All I got to say is Sprint better get their shiiit together or they'll be losing even more customers, they are falling waaaay behind.

Agreed.

I bought a TP2, but can't bring myself to activate it. Love the screen size and the tv-out function is cool, but the Diamond's small size is perfect and it has the SAME speed processor.

I have SERO accounts, and thought the TP2 would be the last phone I could buy and activate.

With the OMJ 28002 v1.2 rom, the Diamond is good for now.

Does anyone know how to get a new installed version of Opera to be the default browser for htc internet tab and to be the default browser in general besides the version included with the ROM?

My phone keeps on locking up when checking my email. Every time I go to check my inbox I have to perform a soft reset. Guess there seems to be an issue with the 28008 release.

I've been running 28002 v1.2 for a few days now. It seems very stable and my Diamond has never been this fast and responsive. Thumbs up.

I was having the same issue....that & 28008 seemed sluggish to me.....I went to 28005 & it was a huge improvement.

either 28002 or 28005 is the way to go...

I'm still running my 21882 rom.....I'm torn! 21882 seems snappier, but I really like the bottom buttons now, I'll probably go back to 28005 tomorrow, going to Sea World today, so no time to flash!
