PPCGeeks - [DISCONTINUED] OMJ's HTC Sense 2.5 & 2.1 ROMs | WM 6.5 / WM 6.5.x

You can send and receive texts either through HTC Messaging or native WM. It has arcsoft built is so you will receive a text notifying you of new mms. The notification will show up in HTC Messaging (and native for that matter) but the pic will not. You can click on the msg in HTC Messaging and it will launch native WM where you can click on the pic icon and it will launch the normal ArcSoft client. This is all working the way it was designed to by Amarullz in his version 1.5 mod. Works great and gives you pretty much the option to use either HTC or native WM for pretty much everything except actually opening the pic in an mms which requires you to get to ArcSoft.

Argh, I can't get my Diamond to Sync via WMDC on my new Windows 7 setup. Booo! Not OMJ's fault, but if anyone is on 7 and can sync, flash, etc., can you help me out?

Yeah, GPS works great. Just won't lock on and update unless the data connection is 1x instead of EV.

Just installed 28005. The default EZInput keyboard seems to, fairly often so far, lock up the phone. Was this a problem in 28002 as well, or should I wait and try the new 28008 when it's up?

Ok, I confirmed that My Location works with 1x and Wi-Fi now too but no EV still. I wonder if it is the radio? Is there a difference between the "E" icon in the ROM and the "Ev" icon? I know sometimes it goes between the icons for some reason, but I didn't know if this mean some change in service. In OMJ's screen shots it looks like just the "Ev" icon. Someone else in another forum had this problem too. Can anyone explain the icon thing to me?

The E is revision A EVDO that comes with Alltel Diamonds as an indicator. In the shipped ROM it is a rA icon.

Ok that makes sense. I was wondering where that cool Ra icon from my stock Alltel went to! I see that you have Alltel or now Verizon, does your location stuff work with the RevA? I even played with the RevA "disable" and "enable" and still can't get it to work.

this looks delicious. i want to flash sense rom as soon as i get an usb cable, but i heard the battery life is horrible on these. confirm or deny!
