I've noticed that this ROM has a good amount of storage memory available after a fresh flash. However, if you want to free up about 12MB more, simply install Opera 10 and Google Maps to the Device, remove themm then reinstall to the storage card. Opera 10 installs and runs perfectly from the storage card and still works from the internet tab of Manila.

Looking good. This is my first rom away from 6.1.
The battery is kind of crappy, ugly volume control, and task manager is the only thing I dont like so far.

after trying to send a picture via my outlook account the phone locked up. Pulling battery brings the phone back to password prompt. i enter in my password and the manila screen starts to load but locks up immediately going to a white screen soon after.

Any one else have this problem?

Call me superstitious but did you flash to the shipped ROM first? If not you might wanna try that then flashing OMJ's ROM.

good news, Amarullz released his Beta Messaging mod, I'm testing it now, but I'm having an issue sending through it though. I can send fine through POutlook & can receive fine through his mod. I can also send/receive MMS, but it's actually through POutlook w/ Arcsoft.....it's a pretty nice mod, hopefully he'll have a solution soon....I have a feeling it's cdma related. see the attached pic of the error I get when trying to send.

I'd upload it now but I'd like to see that bug fixed first

hey i just tried the 6.5.3 28005 and opera 10 beta works great with wifi but not with my cell connection, also i miss the pictures in the phone dialer call log. other then that great rom. Im going to see if the rom with 9.7 makes a difference

You're going to have to forgive my ignorance as i'm a noob in the phone flashing arena. By flashing the shipped ROM you mean unlocking it? If so than yes I did that. If not can you explain more?

you flash back to your stock rom, as in the rom that should have come with your phone. Then flash to OMJ's latest.

This seems to clear up a lot of flashing problems.
