[QUOTE=Old_Man_Jenkins;1315196]sorry to hear about your issues. I think I remember reading about your data issues, Have you tried flashing back to stock sprint rom & running update profile?

also, now that u have a your contacts back, back them up using PIM backup, then reflash & use PIM to restore. PIM is included in my rom.[QUOTE]

Thats a good idea ill try it. As for the data issue i tried everything i could possibly do and nothing. To be more specific though yes i tried flashing back to stock and everything but nothing and i didnt want to do the update profile because after losing all my settings from that rom i didnt want to lose them again honeslty dont know for sure what update profile does.

a month or so ago, I lost both voice & data after doing a hard reset, the rom I was using did not have update profile, the settings were lost....I flashed back to stock sprint, ran update profile & got everything back.....try it!

update profile will fix this

I like this rom so much that I have created a tutorial for people OF ALL SKILL LEVELS that shows people how to MAXIMIZE the potential of their diamond using your rom as a base, please check it out. Contains detailed instructions on Manila 2.5 customizer and customizing 6.5.1

HOW TO TURN YOUR DIAMOND INTO A MINI TP2

And to OMJ ...
Dude, all I can say is thank you. You clearly put a lot of thought into stability with this rom. I've been using it daily and heavily since you put out 1918 and now I'm on your newest 1920 rom as I posted and with all the available Manila 2.5 mods out there that actually WORK with this version of manila, man you just eliminated the need for me to get a TP2. Now that we have a nearly fully functional manila 2.5, and aside from the keyboard and screen size the ONLY difference between our Diamonds and the tp2 is 256 megs of ram. I'd rather have a Mini Tp2 in my pocket with my Diamond which is basically what your rom does for my phone. Can't wait to see if you can get manila truly 100% functioning with working twitter and the other minor minor bugs that are in it. Good luck man.

If you want to remove something from OEM, you have to move/delete it from the OEM folder in the kitchen.

Thanks mwalt2! That was pretty basic stuff but i did learn a little and my main problem was VERY basic as it was... I looked and looked everywhere, right clicked, clicked on every tab in that kitchen to try to make some of the packages "false" and then finally stumbled acrros it by accident... DOUBLE CLICK the package whallla!!! LMAO ... pretty damn basic problem!

Built and flashed about 10 roms yesterday with it and like it pretty good :) ... still don't have quite what i want w/o any bugs but gonna make some more today ... may even try the "6.5.1" (comm/3) sys today for the first time, this medical leave i'm on really does allow for a lot of time to sit around and play with this new phone of mine :)

Thanks again for the links and I'm sure there will be more questions to come :spin:

I'm sorry, my fault......I thought you were on Sprint....I see now you are on Verizon, so dont flash the stock sprint & run the update profile
