looks very nice, clean just how i like it, not bloated... Like mentioned the align screen showing after reset ( gonna try what you mentioned ), removed the people, music, photo, stocks tabs with no issues with TF.
Market place not working for me, but not important. Activesync working for me, fine. Besides that great !! gonna be checking battery life... |

Re: ||23502 COM5||Manila 2.1||
love the organized start menu, free space, and the theme....the tmail is htc skinned which looks muuuch nicer. wen i try to send a txt in manila, it sends it but doesnt show the txt i just sent. opera is not workin at all..im sure these r all minor problems. and really like the direction of this rom i cant for tonites release!

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/16643; U; en))
No major problems so far now. If your ROM was open I would take a few things out. Copy & Paste does not work unless the keyboard has that function. Not really a big deal. It also took me a minute to figure out how to send a text. lol. I like the texting layout. The Opera link did not work but I installed a version I like. Overall very nice ROM Chome editor does not work well. It messed up my notifications and would not add panels I wanted. Hard reset now to get back to where I was. |
Re: ||23502 COM5||Manila 2.1||
TF has frozen up on me 2 times since being flashed yesterday night, one of them Hard Resetting the phone for some reason. The other required my hitting the reset button by the battery.

Ok, some more info on Opera not working. When I go to open it in Manila, just doesn't go. When I go to the start menu and choose it, an error code pops up saying "The file 'OperaL' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file." I'd say grab a new copy for your kitchen, and it should be fine.
There is the CDMA/GSM network selection option still there for texting, but if you go to All Messages > Menu > Settings > Options, the option to permanently choose your network is the first option. Works from all messages, but if you are in the Contacts Messaging (either by going through the contacts tab or clicking on the message on the screen on the Messages tab), it will attempt to send in GSM mode. I tried to find the option or registry entry for it, but no luck. Oh, don't know if anyone else had this problem, but Google Maps was acting up hardcore. The first time I opened it, worked fine for 3 min, then froze to the point i had to soft reset. Second time, crashed and the phone soft reset on its own about 3-5 seconds after the GPS got a lock. Turned off the GPS, and it worked fine. I'm sure if I turned GPS back on, it would make my phone reboot again (lemme try...hmm, seemed to work fine, go figure). Anyways, excellent ROM, they keep getting better and better! |
Re: ||23502 COM5||Manila 2.1||
Oh, a weird thing that I just noticed: every 10 seconds, the LED's in the wheel will flash for a half second, whether the screen is on or off.

Re: ||23502 COM5||Manila 2.1||
Excuse me for sounding like a numbty, but how do I tell on my phone if I am running one of your ROMs? I believe I am and I love it, just want to know why the change to the current ROM listed?
