I already tried both. :P I'll try the new ROM.

@Trident: Which browser are you using? I'm having no popup issues here in Chrome. Always liked MediaFire because they don't make you wait to download.

Also, where can I get a hold of the diamond tf3d config you have built in to your 6.5 w tf3d rom? i manually installed manilla and I cant find a diamond config that works.

I guess I misunderstood you... I have never been able to select a wallpaper from the internal storage thru settings > today in wm 6.5. I use Pictures and Videos (NOT HTC Album) to browse the pics on the internal storage and then set it as the today background from there (press and hold for menu or click the menu softkey).

As far as the TF3D Config, attached is the cab form of the one I use.

Could I request a megaupload post again?

Lol I do like mediafire. It actually lets me organize all my downloads a little better and keeps track of how many times a file is downloaded for me. Megaupload has a spot to tell me how many times something is downloaded but it never changes from 0. I'll get the rom uploaded to megaupload for ya...

Megaupload isn't happening... it thinks I was able to upload a 90MB file in 2 minutes. I am uploading to myunspace...

thanks that totally helps.

one last thing (for now). How do I get that manilla button on the bottom right of my today screen where I can switch (I assume it just runs a script to change your today screen right)? or is that not possible with this build?

Oh, I found the problem. My library was severely outdated. :P A library update fixed it.

Sorry Brock, I didn't see this until today. Did the ROM folder work that Mystery directed you too?

You probably wouldn't have liked my SYS anyway. I yank a LOT of stuff out of there (sort of like Cap'n Chronic's "Ultralite" kitchen) that you may want to keep. Here it is if you still want it:

You will have to add cprog.exe and tpcutil.dll to the sys because indagroove and cap'n chronic put those in the "OEM Drivers" folder instead. Just search for them in your old sys and copy them to the respective folders in this one.

ill try it. i enjoy the ultralite the best. i yank a lot of crap out too.

i have actually had to take those two programs out of the respected sys folders, becasue i use the ultrlite kitchen, and they are in the OEMDrivers folder as you said.
thanks for the upload though. ( i actually took a thing or two out, thanks again)

i still havent been able to achieve the battery life i had with the ultralite kitchen release....not sure why

At the time, I was also using Chrome- I ended up getting it, but it was a PITA. I go back and forth between Chrome and IE8 (sometimes Firefox or Opera). No waiting is good. Ads jumping up are bad. I know, it's always a trade-off.

LOL, I chickened out on a couple of folders. This is the first time modifying a SYS. What else did you get rid of?

I'll test it out tonight/tomorrow and see how it does.
