I've even reloaded the telus stock rom to clear up the phone and also have cleared storage and re flashed mighty 6 but it still hangs, i dont think it is the phone because telus rom would power on and off just fine, would me loading pp pim backup have anything to do with possibly corrupting the system?

any help would be much appreciated!!!

It is possible that your PIM backup is corrutped. Try out myphone. It works great.

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 :: Notification Enhancement

I've seen several others bring this up, but I haven't seen a solution yet.

MR5 had some version of the HTC Notification Enhancement. MR6 does not. I really liked the Notification Enhancement. I did searching and found installers for Topaz and Rhodium versions but neither cab worked. Although, they appeared to be more advanced (pop-ups skinned, etc.)

I don't mind it not being packaged in MR6 as sometimes a more "naked" ROM is better in that you can customize it yourself (speaking of which, I wish the HTC SIPs weren't pre-installed in MR6 heheheheh).

So I'm wondering how do I get the notification enhacement back? I don't need all the fanciness of the Rhodum version, just the MR5 version would be fine. :-) I used it dozens of times per day as it was much more finger friendly than the built-in tiny WM notification icons.

I think it was under Taskbar settings.

I've been out of town for about a week so I have no idea if this has been covered, but my MSN Weather Widget/Gadget, whatever the hell it's called doesn't work, is there a fix for this? Thanks!

Having a severe issue with MR6 (or I don't know it seems to happen every time I flash a 6.5 ROM).. It works for a few minutes and slows down to a crawl, then when I attempt to reboot it it gets stuck on the Touch Diamond screen or it doesn't load the main UI, only the Start menu... I have flashed shipped beforehand and am sure I have a CDMA Diamond. Does anyone have a solution? D:

Second, when typing a name or address in the "To:" in the Email app and not selecting a suggested contact or address the email app is quite consistantly crashing on me. It seems to do this after typing in 5 to 6 letters. This makes it impossible for me to send an email to anyone not in my contacts. I thought this might be a bad interaction between Fingerkeyboard and WinMO 6.5, but I still experience this exact same issue after performing a hard reset (via clear storage method), not installing a thing, and only adding a couple contacts manually.

Note that I flashed this ROM using the suggested method (shipped, new ROM, hard reset).

Edit: looks like at least one other person reported this problem in this thread. There was a .cab posted to potentially fix it. Anyone have it available to upload? The rapidshare link is down.

Does anyone have that .cab im having the exact same problem...its killing me not being able to use txts. Thanks!

I had a similar problem with MR5 and also the stock Sprint ROM. However, it took longer than a few minutes. The severe slow down happened after about 8 hours on stock ROM and after about 48 hours on MR5. So far I haven't had this problem on MR6. What is funny is that if you went to a Task Manager app that showed CPU usage, CPU usage was normal. I narrowed it down to GDI operations which would slow down. Essentially, all basic WM apps would draw to the screen reaaaaallllyyyy slow. Anything that used accelerated graphics (TF3D or MS3 or Titanium, etc.) would operate normally.

Question for you: Do you fiddle with any settings with the dialer/phone? That's the one thing I have not done yet on MR6 that I always did before. (In particular I would switch to default dialer and user a third party for caller ID.)
