5 has been running for quite a while for the touchpro series, even though you guys only had one main release.

It just so happened that way.

Currently i have;

Windows Mobile 6.5 - Touch Pro
Windows Mobile 6.5 Lite Build - Touch Pro
Windows Mobile 6.1 - Touch Pro
Windows Mobile 6.1 - Diamond
Windows Mobile 6.5 - Diamond
Windows Mobile 6.1 - Mighty & Silence Project (Touch Pro)

This is a lot of roms to take care of.

I am condensing all my work down to 2 simple roms, for both devices.

Brand new direction, brand new build...

Fresh start for all of us!

So what changes are you planning on the 20th release?
I find it hard to believe that you can improve on perfection.... but I cant wait to see what you come up with!!!

[EDIT] Oops sorry, guess this shoulda been posted in the 6.1 thread. I guess its bound to happen when I subscribe to every one of your threads, lol!

In the meantime, is there a fix you found for the PC connection issue you can post while we wait for MR6 and want to keep our MR5's on our phones til' 6 comes out? Thanks.

hey mike, do you still have the link to your MR5 beta rom that you released on 5/20/09 (i think)? i think it was your most stable/usable 6.5 release for the diamond because:
1) no corrupted ringtone error
2) no activesync error
3) real fast and smooth (what you would come to expect from mike)

the only cons i noticed were
1) i could not seem to find the hidden preference option when i used phm registry editor so i couldn't get mode of operation to show up under phone settings
2) the dialer conflict and opera in the bootlauncher (both which can be easily fixed with a registry editor)

all in all i feel this is the only solution to those that want a fully functional WM 6.5 rom that meets mike's standards and can't wait for MR6 or don't want to go back to his perfect 6.1 rom

Unzip then Import this reg to enable hidden mode of operation. I made it for myself a while ago.
