Stuck after flashing Juicy 7
 

Hi guys,

I just purchased a Bell CDMA based HTC Diamond few days ago and I am having a heck of a time flashing a ROM into this device. After following the instructions carefully for Juicy 7, I managed to get it flashed but it was really unstable for me - frequent crashes. So I had to do frequent resets. After the last reset, the phone would not boot anymore. I tried both hard and soft reset without any progress.

After hard reset, I get the following:
- 4-color screen with the title "Security Unlocked"
- Texts on it says:
DIAM500
SPL-0.57.CMONEX
MicroP-Diam (LED) vB
PSOC-Diam STAGE_EVI v20
- And at the bottom it says "Serial" but it changes to "usb" when I plug USB cable.
- I am unable to get past this screen.

After soft reset, I get the following:
- Black screen with "Touch DIAMOND" text
- Red text near the bottom with whole bunch of not so meaningful letters.
- I am unable to get past this screen.

In other words, I cannot get into WM at all. What happened to my phone? I'd appreciate some help!

Thanks for the link, but unfortunately I went through that article already... When it is at the rainbow screen, my PC recognizes the devices but not as a WM device. Hence I am unable to flash at that state.

Also, if I try soft reset, USB is not recognized when it is stuck at the black screen with Touch DIAMOND.

Doh I stand corrected... At the rainbow screen, ROM Updator still recognizes the devices so it appears that I can still flash... :)

Sure you can. Just force to bootloader, plug in your phone, and run the rom update utility. Done. Post in the thread linked to above if you have further difficulties. That's why that thread is stickied -- to keep all pertinent info in the same place.

Its sorta a failsafe for when things like this happen.
