~Bear-Bonz Rom~ users - WM6.5 poll
 

This poll is for Bear-Bonz Rom users... if you do not use this rom, please do not respond.

I am currently using a build of the rom which is similar to 1.8 in many ways, but is based on WM 6.5 sys 21501. Unlike my previous attempts at a 6.5 rom, I am having a really hard time putting this one down. I'm quite happy with the direction it is going... and so, the question is...

Do you guys want me to upgrade to 6.5 for version 2.0 of the rom?

I would like to see good 6.5 rom to use so that I could guage whether or not I want to persue any wm6.5 roms myself...

I love 1.8 so far but I'm really excited about trying out 6.5 and if anyone can make a stable ROM using it, it's you. Go for it!

Hi Bonz. I have used several versions of your rom. This is a tough one because 6.5 is evolving quite nicely but still has some quirks. I would say yes but I would probably leave out Rhodium until it is bug free. I just noticed the roms that have 6.5 with manilla or rhodium are really bogged down from a memory standpoint. Also, how your seeing the battery life with your 6.5 releases? Groove's 6.5 releases(very good :) ) has pretty good battery life but some of the others have not been that good. That's just my humble opinion but I would roll with any decision you made.

Thanks for the feedback. I should add that if I upgrade to 6.5 Rhodium manila WILL be included. 6.5 without manila for my rom is not something I am interested in doing.

That being said... the version I am currently running is basically 1.8, redone with 6.5, and I am pretty happy with it. Battery life is looking good, but the jury is still out.

*edit* I am trying to fix the Titanium screen up nice too, though, so people that want to turn off manila have both options.

I have been switching between your 1.8 ROM and a 6.5 ROM that I built with Calc's new kitchen. I am not using touchflo at all on the 6.5 and I really do not miss it. That's just me though and I understand why some people still want it.

Please add the Rhodium Manila if you decide to build 6.5.
