Microsoft .NET Compact Framework???

Can someone tell me what this is? I was installing something and tried to run it and a message popped up saying that the Microsoft .net compact framework version installed on my device is to old and requires a newer version. What is the newest version and where do i get it from? thanks

I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I know that programs with kinetic scrolling need newer versions of .net cf, 6.5 comes with the newest version standard and the kinetic scrolling is simply amazing!

Download from here. v3.5

You will need to install this from your computer.
