tried a search, I am still having the first letter drop on SMS (and trouble in general getting the first attempt to sms to start typing in the box). I've seen mention of this before, but I can't recall the fix (if any).

Was there one? Thanks!

I'm having the same problem PLUS the phone freezes during a "conversation" after 3 or 4 texts.
soft reset is necessary.

I have yet to see these problems. Ensure that you are using ABC not T9...

has anyone else had the trouble where the sms missed stays at one whether you have none or a hundred? starting to get old...

I had that happen on TF3D once in a while. usually once I get past 25 texts and only occasionally. Haven't seen it in a while.

I had that happen, but once in a blue moon. I mean I can't tell you the last time, it's been that long.

So is this a problem with Spb's Mobile Shell not updating it's information or is it something in the rom?

I was referencing TF3D, I don't think its the Rom. I havn't had it happen enough to make it a concern.
