Read the documentation that comes with Sashimi at the link I posted in the FAQ. It is really well documented, and once you do it the first time, after that it will be really easy.

I haven't had a chance to set up my Facebook account yet. Has anyone had a chance to try the Facebook app I included in version 1.1 of the rom? If so, can you comment on it vs. the manila Facebook tab so other users (and me) can get an idea what to expect?

I haven't updated yet but i used the cab for that app, but i still use both (tab and app). I will update when i get home later.

I have been using 1.0 all day and liking it alot! Will flash 1.1 in a bit.

Thanks for NOT making this SASHIMI compliant. I use it but I hate when I hard reset before flashing to stock and forget to cancel the automatic SASHIMI installation routine. Like you, I prefer to do it myself.

Kinoma is really cool! I may ditch PocketPlayer if I can get Kinoma to see my external hard drive on my network.

EDIT: I hate facebook. I really don't want to see other peoples converstations. Oops, I guess that's what we do here.

You may find that you like some things that Kinoma does, but some things that PocketPlayer does as well. The Orb integration and YouTube features are my favorite things on Kinoma. Check out the YouTube and you may never want to use the old YouTube app again.

For anyone having problems with version 1.1 getting stuck in landscape mode... this is a small problem with Calkulin's most recent kitchen. You can install this cab (provided by Calkulin) to resolve this issue.

*edit* The fix will be applied permanently in the next rom version.

*edit* Soft reset after applying.

I forgot to mention regarding the lock softkey on the homescreen. It is a shortcut to a tiny app that turns off your display. You can use it that way, remap the button to something else, or... if you are using a locking program, you can set it to lock when the screen turns off and then just use that softkey to lock your screen basically. It's a simple way to have this button kinda-sorta compatible with all kinds of locking programs.

*edit* Yes, this is exactly the same as using the power button to turn off the display. I just like the save on wear and tear aspect. Feel free to remap it with Advanced Config if you aren't thrilled with it.

Hey bonz love the rom. The fix you posted for the lanscape sticking problem didnt work for me though.
