Personally, I just oemize the skins, and then cab install the engine in customizations. You have to use the hide functions in your config_operator.txt, something like this:

LOCK: Disabled
HIDE:Enabled
CAB: \Windows\FingerKbd2.1.cab
HIDE: Disabled
LOCK:Enabled
CAB: \Windows\SIPchange.cab

Please note, there should not be a space after LOCK: or HIDE: , but the site makes these smilies otherwise..

The FgKbd configurator will come up duyring customizations.

As you can see, I install SIPchange after, and the reg is tweaked to select FingetKbd, and 40 second delay.

6MB in skins is alot, that's why I choose the 2 best that I liked but also you don't need to use sipchange, just add this key to your cab

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sip]
"DefaultIm"="{C03755DF-3EE7-41DF-AE5E-3FBBCA603F1A}"

i mean, sorry for this being a little off topic, but if i were to cook with only a fingerkyb oem -no version of any htc keyboards cooked in- would my phone have a word dictionary and word prediction still (a MS version ??) ?

2 Attachment(s)
Here's the OEM with the skins cab attached. FYI, the skins are resampled to save some space and to speed it up some

So after adding the last key value of Sip is the defaultIm part a dword value or something else?
Edit NM thinking it's a binary.
