possible fix for mighty rom 4.8 ringtone bug...
 

convert all wanted mp3 ringtones to a wav file via winff http://winff.org/html/downloads.html

then set them to your root on internal storage and it should work no problem. its working for me just some of the tones you make can be kinda large unless you cut them down.
