Problems i've had with this rom..

Audio still cuts in and out during Music Playback (Though not as much as with other roms)

For some reason, i'm not sure what the catalyst is, but the ringer for incoming calls stops working and you need to reboot the phone before it works again.

Long key press does not work. (Again)

The keyboard tends to disappear when you try and use it forcing you to open it again.

TF3D performance seems better as well as the accelerometer but overall the phone seems a little slower when moving between and opening programs.

So would you say the official rom is worth flashing and does anyone have any experience with the leaked rom and what is their opinion of it?

I would say yes if you want to check out the latest and greatest (yeah right) from Sprint. :)To be honest, our chefs put out a better product. Maybe look out for roms based on the new official release since there are new things in it that can be used to improve custom roms.

it is definitely better than the original sprint rom. but the Chef's here put out a better product. i would say unlock your phone and test out different roms till you find one that works for you.

I've had this Rom for about 24 hours.

I installed S2U and it freezes up my phone like crazy now.

Im going for a custom rom now. Sorry Sprint, you will always be behind PPCGeeks and XDA :D

Is anyone else having a problem with Sprint TV not being able to update it's channel list?

No, it worked well for me but keep in mind. Sprint TV often has problems. Usually has to do with the network. I did like this version alot. Good with switching from portrait to full screen.

SPRINT BRICKED MY PHONE!

So I updated with the recent link included on the first page direct from HTC site. I still had the original rom on my phone, never changed it.

Following the upgrade, I checked my phone out, figuring all I would have to do is load up my favorite programs. checked through, here is what happened:

1. internet browser did not want to start up, just clicked on internet, but nothing happened, almost like opera shortcut was not working.
2. sprint tv not connecting
3. weather WAS updating.
4. youtube app WAS working.

So I called up Sprint to get support for the browser and sprint tv connectivity, etc.

they proceeded to ask me to reset the phone numerous times, I basically could not get to the network following those requests.

now I am stuck with a basic phone that can't even get data now.

so sprint is sending me out a new phone. the girl said they would not charge me the deductible! I said you don't have a choice, you bricked my phone!

so now I'm waiting for a new touch diamond, nice huh?

thanks,
ant.

this seems ridiculous. Its there new release. If you want data while they send you a new one, try Clear Storage one more time by Selecting Start>Settings>System Tab>Clear Storage. When it fires up again. Check to see if you have data. if not. Go to Settings, and select update profile. if it doesnt work. try again or soft reset and try again. Once your profile is updated, you should have data restored. Tech support is good and bad at times. some of them would just prefer to call it a hardware issue and swap them out. It's easier for them. Hope this helps.
