ok as wierd as this is going to sound, it is when we change the background pictures for the wall paper.... this is what is slowing the whole rotation down... so as of now the topaz jpg that is on the first post lags the snot out of the rotation.... I don't know why or what the fix is, but if you only use a crappy little background then it seems to flip into landscape fine.... I am open to suggestions, but as of now, this is really wierd

intx, what wall paper are you using that you are seeing no lag???

yeah the lag when you rotate to landscape in the manilla is due to the background image, for some reason in this version only (1.4) it lags really bad when rotating in manilla. It is like the system is having a hard time resizing the background image.... I tried all sorts of different ones, and anything with decent quality is getting screwed up. It will take anywhere from 4-6 seconds to flip to landscape... So a temporary fix for me, was a very crappy light grey background... It is low enough resolution to no bog everything down and it looks decent.

But this is only happening in 1.4.... so hope this helps you intx.... maybe in your next version, cook the topaz jpg into the rom and see if that works, then we won't need to change the background...lol...

anyone know why i cant find sipgt_app.exe in the proceses or task manager?? becuase i need to stop it to change keyboards nd idk where it is..

So the cab is pretty much for carrier specific apps? I don't think mine even has any..

Intx, just a suggestion. If you go with FingerKeyb you should include the original Diamond keyboard as well. Not cuz I like that keyboard(I actually hate it), but because the T9 spell correct works better with the default Diamond keyboard than the Diamond 2 keyboard. If you use FingerKeyb with the T9 that comes with the Diamond 2 keyboard, autosuggest does work, but auto-spell correct doesnt. Just a thought.....
