that keyboard does look pretty awesome, but it also places the pressed key above the actual key -- while it definitely makes it easier for one to figure out what they are typing, it still looks really weird to me

My GPS is working. I have a Sprint Diamond. Other than the usual Diamond GPS Lag (about 1-2 seconds), GPS is working perfectly!

Trying to figure out why the keyboard sometimes stops showing the large letters above the keys when pressed right now.

Honestly, I'm going to go with Fingerkeyb 2.1 next release anyway. I use touchpal personally.

I haven't decided yet, but I'm considering doing some basic color skinning with my ROM.

Nothing too wild, but maybe just some different color highlights, selections, etc.

If anything, I'll release them as CABs.

I could do full themes but honestly I just don't have the time.

We'll see how it goes, I suppose.

It stops showing it after you connect to activesync. Its a bug that has been there ever since the release of the diamond 2 keyboard. Do a soft reset after disconnecting to activesync on your computer and it will start doing the normal thing again.

I prefer the diamond 2 keyboard more than the fingerkeyboard (which is still good though)...I hope you stick with it intx lol

Just go to settings, phone, time syncronization and uncheck it, then go to clocks in settings, and make the time zone 1 ahead of what you are (like if you are in Chicago (central time) change it to new york (or any other eastern time zone city).

This will last through soft resets and everything, and I've been using it and it hasn't failed me once!
