sweet. almost done downloading it now.

i remember when dsl came to my city.. i was at the absolute furthest point of being able to have it. it was like 2 times faster than dialup, but i didn't care. got cable as a beta tester after that and it was just the best thing ever.

Haha, I utilize my time in the city for 3G plenty.

Also, I'm on t1 on the off occasion, now that's nice.


Thought I'd share a little cab I put together a while back that works great on this ROM.

It places an app in your /Program Files folder(and your start menu, assuming it isn't full) entitled "Toggle Hybrid(or 1x, don't remember).

However, you click this app, and it will automatically toggle between 1X mode and Hybrid(EVDO and 1X).

Keeping the phone in 1X when you aren't using data is a very smart idea, it helps conserve battery life.
