Go to LumosWizard, you can disable it there.

Alright...I've been running fidelity for 2 days....and I must say that its noticeably slower than 2.5.

I was SUPER excited to see this thread, but then saw the above post.

I noticed Battery Life isn't as good as other ROMs for me. I am currently running 2.5 and am thinking about switching to something else, but am not sure about the new intx after this comment. An example: I leave my work at 6pm with a 100% charge. I will use it an average amount; little web, text, maybe a call or two. Nothing heavy, and by the next morning at 8am it will be lower then 20%. Often my battery won't even last 12 hours.

If I enable the "Battery Saver Settings" then I can get it to last a little longer (maybe 40% at 8am), but it seems still poor.

(I've used 2.5 since a couple days after it's release. So I've done my fair share of trials and different use scenarios. Is there something that I'm missing?)

If tehxeno is right, then I can't at all use the new Fidelity rom.

Anyone else experience this?

I installed fidelity rom. after few hours that i had to soft reset my frozen phone.now it does not go beyond the startup screen. Even the hard reset is not making it work again. it is stuck on fidelity screen . looks like it got bricked. Any solution?

did you make sure to flash back your carrier's shipped rom first? either way...it looks like you'll have to do it now. you can find them here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36062

Ok guys so I fixed my issue with it being slow.

Here's what MUST be done in order for fidelity to run like a champ:


1. Flash to stock
2. flash to and Install Fidelity
3. Clean storage (not internal)
4. Hard Reset


Then it's pretty much smooth sailing...

I can't get the opera 9.7 cab that is on the first page to install it just says cannot be installed (read bottom edited)

the internet explorer i don't like it doesn't work very well fonts and images are not loading properly when i was viewing the mobile website of these forums the text was dissapearing. also It doesn't let me put downloads in the place of my choosing.

the clean ram crashes every time I use it last time it locked up the phone.

I love this rom tho its very nice. the other stuff works great and it has definate battery savings from stock rom and from other roms I have used.

I like the touchflo and the menus are a lot better than the last 6.5 rom I used. I just want to use the good opera browser

i did flash to stock rom before I installed it I have the telus diamond. Any help with these issues would be appreciated I like the rom alot very smooth otherwise and someone mentioned with the background in touch flo you can't read white text on the screen

Well i think i will do a clear storage and see if I can start over again to see if it will help. I will keep everyone posted I just tried internet explorer again and it works after soft reset better. the images look good.

I redownloaded opera from site the size was different and now its installing after I did the clear storage. possibly corrupt download.

Looks like I'm going back to 2.5 as well. I did the standard stock/Fidelity/clear storage/hard reset sequence, and things are locking up and requiring a soft reset several times a day. I think I'm on #6 right now. There are also a few glitchy things, particularly with Finger Keyboard.

Loving some of the UI enhancements and ideas in this ROM, but will have to go back to 2.5 for stability.
