If I wanted to change the start menu icon, how would I go about that? I tried copying it with total commander but it keeps telling me it cannot copy the file or it looks like it does, but then the dll doesn't show up where I copied it to. Any suggestions?

I believe you must re-sign the file before you put it back into the windows folder. You can find the signer in these forums.

Right, I know about that part but the problem I'm having is actually copying it from Windows to Internal Storage in order to edit it. I have copied other dlls this way so I'm just wondering why I can't do it with this particular dll.

You must use RomExtractor to do this. Something about these files are embedded into the ROM and they are not like the others. Not sure exactly why. Place the folder attached into your phone, I recommend the internal storage, and run from there. Double-click on the file you want to extract, and then you must type the full path (including file name and extension) of where you want it to put the file. There could be another way, but this is how I get my files out...

Does anyone know when 1.7 is coming out. I really like 1.6 but it seems this thread is slowing dying out without any updates?
