first time this has ever happened. my push email flaked out on me today. was getting email all morning long, went to lunch and got back to my desk and i had 5 or 6 emails that came but i did not get them on my phone. reset the phone and waited a few and still no notification. had to manually send/recieve my push email to get the new emails. seems to be working fine now but i will keep an eye on it. incidently i am still running the release from 6-5-09.

He is, he eliminated SimpleROM, and is only doing grooveROM for now....

Quick question,
How is this compared to grooveROM4 speedwise? I'm still using his old 6.1 roms and am kinda hesitant to move on to 6.5 considering the amount of bugs I've heard about.
Thanks

there are no noticeable bugs in Groove5. Speed and stablity are very good. the issue you may have is adjusting to 6.5 and titanium. This rom series is really good. Like I said, it just takes some time to adjust and then you can decide for yourself if you prefer 6.5 over 6.1. I would give it a go and if you have problems, there are many threads that can assist and people to answer your questions.

Other than the two things you mention in the updates for the kitchen (netCF3.7 & email/sms popup fix), are there any other changes?
I've got your kitchen setup just the way I like it now, so I'd rather just drop in the things that change rather than bring everythng that I've already changed over to the new one.
But if there is no way to do that, then so be it.

Another thing- I started using SmartLock to lock the phone and sure enough, when a call came in, the ring was badly delayed and I saw both S2A screens flashing back and forth! I just disabled the HTC phone pad as per your directions (I never use the in call recorder anyway) and found that I really like the WM6.5 dialer. We'll see how this goes for a few days.

My rom has been getting a little more unstable the last few days and required some soft resets and even battery removal a couple of times. The preliminary symptoms were the keyboard wasn't pulling up properly at times. Was particularly problematic while editing contacts for some reason. I really haven't done anything new that should be causing this and I do an automatic soft reset every morning after spb backup runs. I therefore tried flashing the latest grooverom today to see if maybe something was fixed and hopefully it would run better. Immediately I notice something which has changed for the worse. One thing I was really liking was that when a call came in, while there was a ring delay, I would get a beep or two as in indication a call was coming in, before the ringer started. I really liked this! With the new rom, I'm not hearing this. Did you change something and if so, can I reset it to the old way? If so, how?

I'm still wondering what the name of the manual rotate screen program is and where it might be found? Any info would be appreciated, I'm the guy using BigHTCHome. Thanks!

Nothing was changed in regards to ringer. I haven't been able to look into your rotation issue much yet. I've been pretty busy.

Just those two things were changed. The bug fix is in the groovetweaks.cab (or another cab posted in the last few pages) and .net version in sys obviously.
