The look of the phone is basically stock. The only things new are the icons for files and some of the updates apps have a new look. Juicy/JMZ Roms don't have any skins applied to them.

Their updates are geared toward bleeding edge software than interface skins.

I would post the screen shots of the updated apps but I don't have the screen shot app, but i hope this post helps you get an idea of look.

I believe that juicy roms were always to looks as identically to a stock rom as it is possible but with the most uptodate, fast and stable drivers, software and functionnalities.

EDIT : typos

That fixed the auto rotation issue. thanks JMZ.

yeah but doing that disables the phones gsensor in all apps.... We just need to figure out how to only make the dial pad and phone incoming and outgoing calls to ignore the gsensor.... THIS IS AN AWESOME CONCEPT, WE JUST NEED IT TWEAKED A BIT

Wow. Looks like most of the issues I found today were already found.
Issues:
  • Autorotation is not working correctly and can't be turned off without the registry hack? Not OK. When the list of calls rotates, the images get all distorted. Having the phone rotate during a call is not cool.
  • Tonight, my phone got so hot that I could no longer leave it in my pocket- while the battery was draining rapidly with zero use. Went from 80% charge to turning itself off withing 2.5 hours. Somehow, WiFi had turned itself on- I don't know how long it was on before I noticed it and turned it off.
  • There was some incredible hangs where Quickmenu and most of the touchscreen was totally unresponsive. Then, after about 2-3 minutes, everything I had touched would flash on the screen. Then it would hang again.
  • No toggle for "Beam" in settings tab. Push email is grayed out. I'd prefer to not have the Push Email option and have the Beam option there.
  • As mentioned earlier, I'm not a fan of the notifications page that comes up in lieu of the normal notification bubbles.
  • In some screens, I keep noticing text cut off on the bottom and right side. I can't duplicate it right now, so no details about exactly when/where, but I'll keep my eyes open.
Benefits:
  • Damn, this thing is fast. When it's working, it works great.
  • I love the new icons in the Programs tab, Start menu and everywhere.
  • Links open in Opera by default. Much better than IE. (I still wish that it would open up the "mobile" versions of sites by default, but I can figure that one out myself.)

the reg edit makes this rom great. only issue that bugs me is that often pressing the dpad does not select, most notably while typing text

Add this to my list. More often than not pressing the DPad does nothing.
