I love 4.5.5 but I need the compact qwerty kb. I tried one cab installer and it kinda screwed-up the nice kb that came with it. Anyone put a compact qwerty on and have great results?

In call recorder is in the calcu kitchen. you will need the right phonecanvas. The one in calcu's kitchen works.

Its so close to perfect minus the internet not working in EVDO or wifi. and the random resets. Could you as your last big bang before you go to the dark side lol, fix and release the "ultimate" juicy rom to date?

i work with both phones, and i fully believe the diamond is a better device. tp has way too many niggling issues, and the build quality isnt as good. plus, we want you back building roms ;)

well JMZ, thats really horrible news. These ROMs had real potential - Kinda convient for you to lose your diamond RIGHT when you're last release had so many issues. lol.

I can't really answer that. That is up to Juicy as I was only building it. I never really "owned" it.

you're not serious I hope? JMZ has done a lot with the diamond2 project and this rom. all on his donated time! if he wants to move to the touch pro, that's his prerogative. maybe we should try to be more grateful considering we could still be using locked phones without guys like him.

Well lets see you do something productive on these forums like I have. I dont ask for anything in return. Do you see a donate button? (not bashing ones that do. some put in a lot more time than me, and deserve it.)

But as of right now this rom is done. Juicy has the oem from the latest release and will do what he wants with it. Whether keep it going or not. Downloads have been removed.

didnt mean no disrespect to you bro..no need to get all emotional..im just saying...i never said you were a quitter..i just thought it was funny how someone just came with 3 posts and one of them was "quitter"...its just funny to me...and as far as my comment about finishing what you started..its just a statement...i just think this rom could have gone far but obviously didnt...and as far as being productive...being a member in my opinion is being productive...if you didnt have memebrs to download your rom you would be cooking up roms for nobody...but again none of my comments were directed towards you negatively...

I have been away for a few days on vacation. I dont know if anyone else has this issue, I really have not read the thread. I get random restarts. It seems when I slide across the Touch flo icons it happens but that could be me. Anyone else with random restarts

I suggest you read the thread. A lot has happened. :)

JMZ is now diamond-less, and has moved onto the touch Pro, so the development of this rom is currently nixed.

Sorry, but your bugs/problems are probably going to go unanswered.

First of all, JMZ did a lot of work on the Juicy ROM and put a lot of time and effort into something for the good of the community, while asking for nothing in return. He was chosen by Juicy to do this, and worked with him the whole time.

Second, I don't see anybody complaining about how the ROM turned out, and how well it jibed with the original Juicy ROM -except for you of course- apart from the inevitable bugs. Since JMZ no longer has a diamond, I for one (and MOST will agree) do not think he should continue building roms for it! (what would he even test it on??)
Seriously! He is cooking again for the Pro, which he has. (See my point.)
He isn't a quitter, he was more forced to retire :)

Third, as a 'lurker' with 4 posts, (at least 2 of them being negative on this forum) I shouldn't even be taking the time to respond to you. HOWEVER, I feel the need to talk on behalf of JMZ and his efforts.
You may be satisfied with simply taking advantage of the work of others with no idea of the amount of work put in, but MOST people on the forum are not so selfish. The point of a forum such as this is for people to collaborate, ask questions, and ultimately better the usage of their mobile devices.

SAY SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE, OR DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.

amen brother. Juicy will come back because he knows most of us appreciate his work. I wish JMZ all the success in the world! Funny thing is there at least 2 or 3 more chefs now coming out and we will be there to support all of them.

I would have, but it's poor form and people who criticize ROMS get absolutely blasted unless they produce a ROM of their own. So it's no surprise that no one said anything.

Yes yes I appreciate all the hard work and all that blah blah. But I still think Juicy 3.9 is the best ROM. I didn't like the direction JMZ was taking and won't miss the fact that he's not developing the ROM anymore. Thanks for the effort and all that, but I hope he's not offended that I didn't like what he was doing. I didn't and won't blast him for it, but bn228 is absolutely not the only person who has "complaints" about it.

See, that's why no one says anything critical. It's simply taboo to say "I don't like what you're doing with this ROM" without someone - generally MANY people - yelling at you.

What do you mean where I was going with it? Everything that I did was ran by Juicy for his approval. Not one thing went into the rom that he didn't know about. So if it wasn't going "your way" then there are plenty of other roms. Of course people had complaints about it, hell, I did too. But how many problems were fixed within a day, with the exception of the last one. I was working hard to fix anything wrong with it.

How is it taboo to say you don't like a rom? You don't like it, move on. This isn't a monopoly. You have free flash rights.

And people wonder why good cooks leave the cooking world.

Sorry to see you go. I was really happy that someone had taken over Juicy's work. I comepletely agree that if people are not completely happy with a rom that there are plenty out there or they should cook their own. So now that there might not be any more Juicy roms, I have started playing around with creating my own custom rom. I can appreciate that sometimes it takes a while to get it right and that it's not always bug free right off the bat. Thank you for all the work that you put into the roms.
